We have been thinking about getting kittens for a while now. Then one of the boys from Nile's pre-school class had 14 kittens to find homes for! We decided to get two, of course, two kids and one kitty would not go over well. Another reason we decided to give Nile a kitty was because he did a SUPER job memorizing over 30 Bible verses for church since January. The kids at chruch 4years old-6th grade did a Bible road trip where they memorized verses. Only 5 kids even finished the road trip and Nile was the youngest by far and the only one who couldn't read to study them on his own. He is a smart little boy and memorized quickly! Emmy is the kitten girl though, she can catch the kittens and drag them both around without problem. Nile can never seem to catch them and he puts them down as soon as they scratch. Nile named his Miley (someone at church has a cat named Miley so I think thats where he got the name) and they named Emmy's Slinky... like the toy.
