Today Newt Gingrich and his wife came to Algona.  Once again we drug the kids down so we could shake hands with another potential president.

Happy 31st Birthday Brent!

After we got home Tuesday, I ran to the store and got stuff to make Brent a birthday cake so we could have a little birthday celebration for him. The kids helped blow out the candles. :-)

We spent Christmas in the Iowa City area this year.  It was nice to be with family!

Last weekend we got to meet Michele Bachmann. e Rick Perry was in Algona at the same time. Someone emailed me this picture today and its the best one we have seen so far. Emmy and I got to pose with Rick Perry, but I have not been able to get my hands on a pic of that other then the one Brent got from his camera, but he was sorta blocked off by reporters and security people.

Emmy wearing her pretty Christmas Dress. I bough this dress and the coat and hat on the clearance rack when I was pregnant with Emmy! She finally gets to wear it this year! And a plus it is 50 degrees outside today!

Thanksgiving

Here is a pic I took of me and Emmy. Sadly it't out of focus, but its the best I could do whith the chair acting as a tripod and a squirming girl.

It seems as though I forgot to post about Thanksgiving.... My parents, Abby, Joe and Jason came up for the day. We had a lot of fun having every one here.
