Working on the house

I have been working like crazy around here trying to get the house ready to sell.  I have packed up TONS of excess stuff.  We painted the entire upstairs and done who knows what else.  It seems so bare now, without all my pictures and stuff.  The realtor came over Saturday and we put the house on the market!
Here are some pics of all the work I have done and hopefully I can keep the house clean!

Happy Valentine's Day... late

We spent Valentine's weekend sick with colds.  I finally decided to was going to drive down to Kiowa to be with Brent while he was moonlighting and I was hoping he wouldn't be too busy and could take care of us.  Half way there (an hour and a half drive) Emmy puked all over! I stopped and wiped her the best I could and didn't know if I should go home or continue on.  I continued on, there was not more puking and we had a pretty good weekend.

Snow Fun

Saturday the weather was warmer and the snow was wet enough to build a great snowman, thanks to daddy!

Making the Snowman "happy" as Nile put it

"no more pictures of me!"

I wasn't sure what this was going to be, but it ended up being a slide and a tunnel! I have a video of it, but blogger says it can't upload it. :-P

Still smiling even after she face planted on the cement!

Blizzard

When you look outside at all the snow, it is hard to believe that Saturday it was 75 outside!!!!  We haven't left the house in 3 days!  We are going to brave it tonight for a class at church though.  The wind is supposed to die down and it is supposed to warm up to 25 tomorrow, so it should feel pretty warm compared to the -20 wind chills from yesterday.  I don't know how much snow we got yesterday we had a very large drift on the front stairs and there is a very large drift next to my mini van, which only had to be outside this week and of course it snowed! At least it's not drifted in and I think it being there actually stopped the drift from covering our driveway.  Brent said he is going to take Nile out to play in it tomorrow after he gets home from school, maybe I can get some pictures then.  I took Nile out today, but we were out 10 minutes or less and he said "I'm too cold!"
